With your virtual office membership, you get access to a real business address in the heart of San Francisco. Runway is located near the Embarcadero, at 160 Spear Street.

Use this address on your company documents, website, business cards, and anywhere else you need it.

Mail receipt and forwarding

As part of your virtual office membership, we will receive, sign for, and securely store your business mail.

You can either collect it as often as you like, or have us forward it to you at the location of your choice.

Call answering and phone services

Our friendly Runway receptionist Katherine will answer your calls just as if you were an onsite Runway company. 

Then, she will send you an email with the caller’s name and phone number.

FAQ

As soon as Runway confirms your membership you may start using the Virtual Office address for mailing and your mailing service will begin. This is typically 1-2 business days from the time you sign up.

Membership fees for the month are due the first of each month. Any additional fees such as added conference room or hot desk time incurred during the month will be added to the next bill cycle. We will prorate your fees if you start mid-month.

To sign, you’ll need the first month’s costs, a $100 activation fee, and a refundable deposit of one month’s fees.

The deposit covers any additional conference room, hot desk, or event charges that you may incur. Your deposit will be returned to you 60 days after the end of the agreement, to account for clearance of pending fees.

You may cancel your membership at any time with 30 days written notice.

You’ll need to provide us with a photo ID, Address information, and your company registration or incorporation documents.

The Runway team will accept incoming mail. Up to 2 times per month it will be forwarded to you via USPS. Our service includes up to 3oz of business mail (envelopes) in either a #11 (4.5″ x 10 3/8″) envelope, or a commercial booklet envelope (9 1/2″ x 12 5/8″). Bulky items, packages and heavier envelopes may incur additional shipping charges. The kinds of items we can receive are subject to rules & regulations of US Customs, USPS, or other shipping services (i.e. UPS, FEDEX, DHL)

 

Weekly forwarding of business envelopes less than 3 ounces total. Larger items and packages are subject to additional charges and are subject to state, federal, and international shipping rules, restrictions, and regulations.

 

Anywhere you would like to showcase your business. This might include, but is not limited to business cards, websites, print or digital marketing materials.

In most cases, yes. If you plan on actually doing business in San Francisco, and not just having a virtual office address here, please look at the City of San Francisco’s Guidelines and Process for registering your business with the city.

Yes, it is! The 10th floor of 160 Spear Street in San Francisco.

They will be warmly greeted by our front desk staff, and informed that you’re not currently in the office. Our receptionist will take a message and then inform you via email.

 

You can come up to 2 days per month (it does not roll over), Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm, unless otherwise agreed by prior arrangement. If you need more frequent access to the space, we offer hot desks at $50 per day, exclusively for virtual office members.

 

 

 

We need 24 hours advance notice for bookings so we can make arrangements for badging with our building security team.

 

Once you’ve booked your hot desk date or conference room, you may arrive any time between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday to check in and get situated. Other times may be available by special arrangement. While it’s necessary to arrive between 9am and 5pm, you are welcome to leave later than 5pm.

Conference rooms are available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. They are subject to availability, and are booked in 2-hour time blocks. Virtual Office members receive 5 hours of conference room time per month. Additional conference room time is available at $350/hour.

 

Hot desk and lounge use is limited to the Virtual Office member. However, clients and colleagues are welcome to join you for meetings in conference rooms.

Live reception is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, Pacific Standard Time.
